Jin10 data reported on March 27, French bank Société Générale forex strategist Kit Jukes stated in a report that uncertainties regarding the U.S. economic outlook and German fiscal spending are hindering any significant fluctuations in the dollar. He noted that it is still unclear whether Germany will fully utilize its new fiscal space, and whether American consumers will be adversely affected by Trump’s policies. Due to the inability to provide near 100% certain answers to either of these questions, we are currently in a wait-and-see mode. If there is evidence that the harm to U.S. trade partners from Trump’s tariff policies exceeds that of the U.S. itself, then the dollar may appreciate. Currently, market participants seem to be in a "watching mode."
