“Pre-attack warning” IDF issues evacuation order to residents in central Gaza Strip
On the morning of January 12, local time, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued an evacuation order to Palestinian civilians in the Nusayreit area of the central Gaza Strip. The Israeli army's Arabic spokesman, Avihai Adrei, posted on his social media a map of the area that needed to be evacuated, saying it was an early warning before the Israeli army launched an attack. He said Palestinian armed groups had once again fired rockets from that particular area, to which the Israeli army had previously issued several warnings. Adrei demanded that civilians in the area be evacuated to the "humanitarian zone" designated by the Israeli army.
