Gate.io, 4th of December: The US Embassy in South Korea announced on 3rd December local time that, due to the impact of the emergency martial law in South Korea and subsequent events, regular consular services will be cancelled on 4th December, and embassy staff will work remotely to the fullest extent possible. The announcement stated that although South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has lifted the emergency martial law, the local situation in South Korea remains unstable. US citizens in South Korea should avoid going to the locations of demonstrations and exercise caution when in areas with large crowds or protest activities.
