Tom Lee Shocks: "I Want to Buy This Altcoin More Than BTC"
Tom Lee, the co-founder of Fundstrat and known for his bold predictions about cryptocurrency, recently stated that Ethereum (ETH) could surpass Bitcoin (BTC) in the near future. In an interview with Bankless, he stated that Ethereum is increasingly being accepted by Wall Street due to its foundational role in the blockchain infrastructure, which could help ETH achieve a 100-fold return and even reverse its market capitalization value compared to Bitcoin. Ethereum is at a "Turning Point Like Bitcoin in 2017" Lee believes that the current stage of Ethereum is similar to Bitcoin in 2017 – the time when institutional investors began to invest heavily. "If I had to invest all my assets in the next 10 years, I would choose Ethereum instead of Bitcoin," he shared. According to him, ETH is not just a digital currency but also a core technology of the new generation, with great potential in applications such as stablecoins, asset tokenization, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
