ChatGPT predicts the top five pumping alts: ETH, SOL, TON, SUI, APT, surprisingly excluding XRP from the list.
OpenAI's artificial intelligence model ChatGPT predicts that the top five altcoins to pump before 2025 will be Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Toncoin (TON), Sui (SUI), and Aptos (APT). Ripple (XRP) failed to make the list, drawing investors' attention.
ChatGPT did not include Ripple's native token XRP, which is somewhat surprising considering its performance since the U.S. elections. At that time, Ripple was in a consolidation phase for several months, with a price ceiling of $0.6. By January of this year, XRP had surged to its all-time high of $3.4 in 2018. Subsequently, XRP experienced a pullback at the end of the first quarter and the beginning of the second quarter, before exploding again in July, setting a new high of $3.65.
It also has quite a number of followers, known as the XRP army, which makes ChatGPT's response even more surprising. Therefore, the model further explained why it does not accept XRP.
ChatGPT stated that its answer is based on "performance outlook" rather than current market value or historical performance.
The report points out that the lack of decentralized finance (DeFi) development on Ripple's XRP ledger is one of the reasons why the token is not listed, which stands in stark contrast to the Ethereum and Solana ecosystems (both of which are listed).
The court also pointed out that although both parties have reached an agreement that the litigation should come to an end, there are still legal issues pending regarding the case against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). However, Judge Analisa Torres still denied the joint request from both parties.
ChatGPT pointed out the previous market cycle where XRP lagged behind other alts:
XRP often underperforms in the early stages of a bull market.
Historically, the pump of XRP occurred later than most other major altcoins.
During the cycles of 2017 and 2021, the explosive trends of XRP appeared at the end rather than at the beginning.
Therefore, although it may perform well, it is usually not a pioneer.
XRP may still pump
Although XRP does not appear in the top five rankings of ChatGPT like SOL, ETH, TON, SUI, and APT, the AI solution still acknowledges that under more favorable conditions, Ripple's asset may continue to pump this year.
ChatGPT stated that if the lawsuit against the U.S. securities regulator ultimately favors Ripple, its native token is expected to benefit. In addition, the company anticipates that the potential approval of a spot XRP ETF will again drive up the price of the underlying asset.
Experts and betting platforms like Polymarket believe that the probability of such products being launched by the end of this year is as high as 90%.
ChatGPT wrote: "XRP is not excluded because it is weaker — it is excluded from the top five performance choices because other coins currently have stronger short-term narratives, faster capital turnover, or better retail excitement."
"But rest assured, XRP is still a high-potential asset that may surprise everyone in the later stages of the cycle, especially if legal clarity and actual utility improve," ChatGPT summarized.
