Overview of Sui Liquid Staking Hackathon Finalists

After more than 40 days of registration and selection, the Sui liquid staking hackathon has completed the evaluation of all participating projects, and the final shortlist has been officially announced. Each of the two tracks has six teams successfully advanced to the Demo Day stage, let's take a look at these outstanding projects.

Shortlisted Projects

1. Aftermath Finance

A one-stop decentralized trading platform that offers CLOB settlement for spot, perpetual contracts, and options, CMMM for long-tail assets and indices, as well as built-in money market functionalities.

2. DegenHive

Combining the innovative governance model of centralized liquidity DEX and NFT, we are committed to fully leveraging the potential of $SUI on the Sui network.

3. Haedal Protocol

   Based on the Sui liquid staking protocol, users can stake $SUI to obtain haSUI, allowing them to participate in ecological governance while continuing DeFi activities to earn additional rewards.

4. Interest Protocol

DeFi protocols that support exchange and lending allow liquidity providers to use LP tokens as collateral to borrow stablecoin Sui Dollar to hedge against impermanent loss.

5. SUISA

A DeFi protocol that allows users to stake $SUI to obtain stSUI, which can also be used to mint NFTs.

6. Volo

By providing voloSUI, it helps users maximize the utility and Liquidity of SUI through liquid staking solutions.

LST DeFi and tools track

1. Aftermath Finance

   Same as the description above.

2. Bucket Protocol

   A non-custodial, immutable, and governance-free CDP protocol that supports $SUI, $BTC, $ETH, and LST as collateral, allowing users to obtain the required tokens at zero interest.

3. Desig

A multi-signature solution that is universally applicable across all chains, compatible with both EVM and non-EVM DApps.

4. Kana Labs

User-friendly applications for DeFi and GameFi, dedicated to co-building the web3 future.

5. Legato

Provide fixed rate protection for liquid staking assets and predict the annual interest rate fluctuations on Sui.

6. Wisp Swap

Decentralized trading and prediction markets, featuring an asymmetric concentrated liquidity DEX with automatically adjustable parameters, using the Ve (3,3) economic model to forecast decentralized markets.

Demo Day Details

• Time: September 29 12:00 - 15:00 (GMT+8)
• Format: Live broadcast on the official Sui YouTube channel via StreamYard
• Process:
  • Participating teams: 10 minutes per team (5 minutes for demonstration + 5 minutes for Q&A)
  • Sponsors: Alibaba Cloud, MoveBit, OtterSec

Review Process

1. The jury is selected by the Sui Foundation and partners from ecological partners, sponsors, and well-known projects.
2. The review will score each project based on predetermined criteria.
3. Calculate the average score after removing the highest and lowest scores.
4. The standardized average score is used to determine the winners of each award.
5. The results of the competition will be announced on October 2.
