Sui Network Foundation Announces First Batch of Funded Projects for 2024

Recently, the Sui Network Foundation announced the list of funded projects for January and February 2024. During these two months, a total of 12 projects received funding, aimed at promoting the integration and development of the Sui ecosystem. Among these projects, 8 focus on providing developers with a better development experience, covering various aspects from a powerful integrated development environment (IDE) to using zero-knowledge proofs to protect user information.

Quick Overview of the First Batch of Sui Grants Candidates for 2024

Sui Dart SDK

This is an open-source SDK that supports the development of mobile, desktop, and web applications using the Dart programming language. The Dart language is specifically designed for cross-platform development, so this SDK provides application developers with a new way to run applications across multiple platforms.

ZeroAuth

ZeroAuth addresses the shortcomings of zkLogin in multi-platform applications by providing a comprehensive set of SDKs. These SDKs maintain a consistent API across different platforms, enabling developers to easily integrate zkLogin into their products, no longer limited to TypeScript and JavaScript applications and wallets.

Move Web IDE

This is a web-based IDE that provides a convenient programming environment and long-term technical support for Sui developers. The goal of this IDE is to become a powerful development tool in the Move ecosystem, comparable to Solidity's Remix IDE.

Sui Kiosk Indexer

This is a tool for systematically organizing Kiosk data, greatly simplifying the parsing process for Kiosk-related data. By providing an API for convenient access to Kiosk data, this tool helps promote the development and use of Sui Kiosk.

Nimbus

Nimbus is a personalized portfolio tracker that integrates portfolio data from multiple platforms, including on-chain applications and centralized exchanges. This provides Sui users with a unified interface to easily track their assets and DeFi configurations. Nimbus also plans to develop and showcase metrics specific to the Sui DeFi ecosystem, offering users deeper insights.

SuiMove Linter

This is an analysis tool specifically designed for Move source code, used to identify programming errors, bugs, and style issues. It provides application developers on Sui with the ability to flexibly execute new Linter rules.

Automatic Liquidity Provider Rebalancing

This project aims to improve the experience of liquidity providers (LP) through an automatic rebalancing and automatic swapping feature of the dollar cost averaging mechanism. This helps to address the complexity issues of manually providing liquidity and alleviates users' concerns about temporary losses during market volatility.

Suilette

Suilette is a decentralized lottery protocol, the proceeds of which will be used to fund other services, activities, grants, and prize pools related to Sui, in order to support the development of the Sui community.

Game Anti-Cheat System

This system utilizes self-learning capabilities to modify parameters after a hacker attack or exploitation occurs, preventing similar incidents from happening again. For example, it can be used to define and enforce invariants of fairness for items in games.

Reclaim

The Reclaim protocol uses zero-knowledge proofs to make HTTPS traffic verifiable, allowing users to generate verifiable credentials from any online user profile. This opens up new possibilities for applications on Sui, particularly in areas such as privacy, antivirus, identity verification, and understanding corporate mechanisms.

FRNZY

FRNZY provides a peer-to-peer marketplace for interactive real-time shopping of physical goods, allowing users to initiate auctions.

Interverse

This is an SDK designed to help game developers establish in-game markets. It allows players to purchase in-game assets from the Web3 market using familiar Web2 gaming methods.

The Sui Network Foundation welcomes all projects that can promote the development of the Sui ecosystem to apply for funding. Applicants are required to submit a comprehensive proposal, including project plans, detailed budgets, key milestones, team expertise, and the expected impact on the Sui community.
