Shiba Inu warns of new scams targeting SHIB holders

The Shiba Inu team has discovered a new scam targeting the SHIB community, in which the bad actors impersonate major projects to steal assets. According to a notice on August 14, hackers exploit expired Discord invite links to create fake servers that look exactly like the official channel, and then send them to holders to lure them into connecting their wallets under the pretense of receiving rewards or airdrops.

Users connecting their wallets through these links will have their assets seized by malicious actors and drained in just a few minutes. Shiba Inu advises the community to only use links from the official website, carefully check the source of invitations, and avoid wallet authentication from unverified Discord links. Shibarium Trustwatch also emphasizes not to rush into granting wallet or dApp permissions from suspicious links.
