Musk: Some Reddit users threatening DOGE employees is illegal, don't mess with DOGE
PANews February 4th news, Elon Musk, head of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), today retweeted a post from user 'Reddit Lies'. The post exposed multiple anonymous Reddit users threatening DOGE department employees, with some even calling for extreme actions and implying the search for their addresses for targeted actions. Musk retweeted the post and said, 'They (the Reddit users in question) have violated the law.' Shortly after, Musk posted a statement from Edward R. Martin Jr., a federal prosecutor in the District of Columbia. The statement stated that the Department of Justice has conducted a preliminary review of the relevant evidence and found that there were indeed individuals and groups who specifically threatened DOGE employees. Currently, the department is working closely with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies and has initiated prosecution procedures. Musk commented, 'Don't mess with DOGE.'
