Brazil will announce a reciprocal countermeasure decree regarding U.S. tariffs.
Golden Finance reported that Brazil's Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry and Trade, Alckmin, stated in an interview in São Paulo that the U.S. tariffs have no economic basis and are inappropriate, and Brazil is considering filing a complaint with the World Trade Organization. The Brazilian federal government is expected to announce a reciprocal countermeasure decree regarding U.S. tariffs before the local time on the 15th.
