Ark Invest buys $19 million in Block Inc. shares as the price hits a three-week low.

Cathie Wood's Ark Invest has just purchased an additional $19.2 million worth of Block Inc. shares through three ETF funds, adjusting its exposure to cryptocurrency-related stocks.

According to the latest transaction announcement, three ETFs from Ark Invest purchased shares of Block Inc. on Monday. The ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) bought 152,980 shares, the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) bought 69,526 shares, and the ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) bought 39,957 shares.

This move comes as Block Inc.'s stock price fell by 0.49% to 73.03 USD – the lowest closing level since July 18, despite having risen by 12% over the past month.

The company led by Jack Dorsey has just reported positive Q2 earnings, with gross profit reaching 2.54 billion USD, a 14% increase year-over-year, and raised its full-year gross profit forecast to 10.17 billion USD. Block, formerly known as Square, is a fintech company with multiple business segments focused on cryptocurrency, holding 8,692 BTC as of the end of June.
